Main setlist

The game's setlist features 93 songs.[citation needed] Project director Brian Bright stated that the soundtrack for Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is "more focused on rock 'n' roll" than the variety of genres within Guitar Hero 5.[4] The game will include songs from Stone Temple Pilots in the soundtrack.[6]. All previous downloadable content that was playable in Guitar Hero 5 or Band Hero will be compatible with Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, allowing for more than 300 tracks to be available to players at launch.[4] Michael Tremonti, brother of Alter Bridge's Mark Tremonti, has confirmed that "Ties That Bind" will be downloadable content for Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.[7]

Sadly, me too. All the way through GH3, in addition to GH: Metallica, they were a guaranteed buy from me. Now, I doubt if I even rent this.

I recently got GH 5 for 20 bucks mostly because it has an import feature I use for GH Metallica and Smash Hits. Track list for this one is not bad but I have not bought a GH game full price since the original on ps2. Plus if you have ever heard of Frets on Fire it's an open source GH clone for pc and people are making their own songs. I have played Rock Band 1 and 2 more than GH, I like the presentation better and the charting for songs is much better imho. Rock Band 2 even came with a training program that can teach you to play drums.

what is this, like the 20th "musician simulator"? fuck these games. theres no reason to keep re-releasing this shit, just release song packs online, not make people go out and buy this shit over and over.

Well, if you're smart (like me), you just wait a couple months for used copies to start flooding the market, and pick it up for $10-$20. Let other suckers pay $60 for it.

God, more Studioforce bullshit from people because we all know it will be the hardest song on the game & a bunch of people are gonna think it's so cool because they think it's so fast and they're (meaning the band) talented but it's all in the studio. I thought this ended after "Through The Fire & Flames". I give up on guitar Hero

Because everyone knows that bands don't record things in studios anymore.

He's obviously referring to the fact that they can't pull their shit off live and need to copy and paste their best takes together for it to not sound terrible.

I know what he was trying to say, I was just poking fun of how he said it.

And yes, they can pull pull their shit off live. They sounded fine all FIVE times I saw them. Must we make this thread into another Dragonforce argument thread?

Yeah, Dragonforce was only really bad live on the Inhuman Rampage tour.

I saw them on their last U.S. run on that tour, on the No Fear Music festival with Killswitch Engage, and that sounded very good. But yeah, before hand they were sloppy.

Well, I'm a total hypocrite because I went out and bought this last night. There are at least two songs that are on there that weren't in the the tracklists posted earlier: "Jet City Woman" by Queensryche and "Fortunate Son" by CCR.

Got a chance to play it for a while last night. "This Day We Fight!" and "Holy Wars" are fucking crazy, but really fun. Most of the songs are available in Quickplay right from the beginning, but a lot of the more difficult ones (including Slayer, Bodom, and Rush) have to be unlocked, which I haven't done yet.

I know Tesla's Modern Day Cowboy is in this, which I'm guessing has a couple of rapetacular parts in it, because they are certainly difficult runs on actual guitar.

It's one of the trickier ones.

2112 wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Just reeeeaallllllyyyyy long.

Guitar never seemed like a hard part to play 2112 (in GH obviously). Drums I would think would be the ultimate challenge.
