They're being pretty relentless this year. That comes off the back of literally solid touring for the whole of May and June in Europe.

I saw them a couple of weeks ago and they were way better than on the 2008 tour. Really great show.

Touring for a new album isn't greedy...

No, but KI$$ is greedy!

That they are, outside of touring. Shamelessly so. But I don't begrudge them playing shows.

They weren't even charging more than most bands for t-shirts. Or tickets.

I have not seen them in a great many years for two reasons

1) No Ace
2) Tickets are really really expensive here

I might be willing to check them out if the tickets were reasonable, though.

Aug. 06 - Philadelphia, PA - Susquehanna Bank Center

Well that's a first - I've never seen a press release say a venue was in a different state than it is.

Saw Ace twice in recent years. Good... but KISS don't miss him. And they certainly don't miss his vocals!

I do like his solo stuff though, so I'm actually happier with the current arrangement. If he were in KISS we wouldn't get the solo tours. This way, we got both. Win-win!

Even the venue is embarassed to be part of Camden

Wow KISS is playing less than 15 minutes from me.

This is actually quite common! The Camden shows are always considered the Philadelphia shows. The PNC Shows in Holmdel are considered the NJ shows. I have been to quite a few shows in Camden where the artist would refer to the crowd as Philadelphia.

I am an Ace Fan Girl, what can I say. No disrespect to Tommy Thayer though! Hell I even like Black N Blue! But I think they should have given him different make up and made him a different character, like they did with Eric Car and Vinnie Vincent. I don't like the whole pretending to be Ace, errr the Space Man.

I know, I've just never seen an actual press release blatantly have the information wrong like this. Just for the formality they really should get it right, haha.

I probably wouldn't buy a ticket, but would love to be working this show. :) KISS are one of those bands that I can listen to if they're on, but I'm not really into them. I'm sure their live show is amazing, but I just don't care enough about them to pay for a ticket, especially with trying to save to pull off ProgPower.
