Would like to bring your attention to the 2nd to last band on the 26th. It's MOTHERFUCKING VANLADE FROM KANSAS FUCKING CITY (http://www.myspace.com/vanlade) and they will kill your fucking face.

Lol, Chillicothe? I forgot that there was someplace less noteworthy in Ohio than Athens. Not really too familiar with any of the bands, but this looks really cool.

That is Rep.Pryor's district, so watch it bub.

I like Icarus Witch, but its not worth the drive.

If I was under 90 minutes from this I'd probably go, but it's pretty hilarious that two of these bands are basically local bands from about an hour from me. If I knew it was that easy to get paid to play on this I probably would've submitted my own band.

Omen + Dofka = win.

It's worth $25 just for those two.

Interesting I might have to check this out. :fist:

Huh, Chillicothe is not nearly as far away as I had thought. 1 hour, 45 minute drive. Not ruling out spontaneously going if I don't work.

I'm 2 hrs. and 11 minutes away according to Google Maps. Unfortunately my Reds partial season ticket package has a game that second day and that's the day that's most appealing to me. Hopefully this does well and they keep building it. It would be cool to have a fest in Ohio besides Woodshock, which is usually pretty shitty.

Yeah, haha. Scion Rock Fest was badass though, hopefully that will come back.

Also...how 'bout dem Reds? :D Mike Leake is the best young pitcher we've had in a decade, and I think we could really win the division.

I really hope Scion Rock Fest comes back since I missed the first one cause I was out of town.

Ohio gets this and Rock On The Range and Minnesota can't even get a single metal festival? Pathetic!

Rock on the Range is a joke. We also usually get Ozzfest, and this year we had Scion Rock Fest.

Less then 10 bands at that shit hole club, Station 4 is hardly a festival.

Isn't there just a generic "Minnesota Metal Fest" as well? I think Windir's only US appearance was at that. And something like Atheist made their comeback at it.

You know about Minnesota Metalfest at Station 4 right?

Last year had Primal Fear, Atheist, Novembers Doom, Destroy Destroy Destroy, and lots of other great bands. I was there and easily my favorite festival I've ever been to.

You can't reason with someone who would be jealous of Rock on the Range.

^ I could think of only 8 bands out of those 3 days that I would even consider wanting to check out. That is an appalling lineup.

The MAIN reason I was excited about that was because of Mushroomhead. They also have Mastodon, Coheed And Cambira, and Slash. Well, other than that it sucks.

The headliners are two bands who played last year? Wow that's lame. There'll be no WOM 2012 then!
