Warbringer have dropped the opening slot that they had with Sodom on the May 26th Hollywood show. John Kevill told this to me before my interview with him on Saturday at Thrasho de Mayo. They did it because they're on too many tours at around the same time. Asia tour starting now, then the tour with Pestilence in June.

Yeah, it'd be fucking awesome.

But Sodom is boner-worthy enough!

Yes! Sodom will leave you sodomized \m/

I know .. they always tear it up live, opening or headlining. But I feel they are MUCH better in headlining shows.

BTW you can change your signature. Maiden tickets are too expensive even for my homies in Dream Theater. They are not giving any tickets for the tour, only photo passes and interviews.

Lol sodomized

Nah I like them open better cause they always play the same set headlining, and besides, all the songs I wanna hear are on the set whether they open or headline. I will always catch them though, headline or not.

And I will not change my signature until you or Turtle Boy or anyone else on this board says something funnier than that :D

Word.

I am so fucking mad that there is no bay area show.
I mean it's not like they are going to play their best material, but they are still one of the best bands of all time, and I'd kill to see any Sodom set.

Oh no, I'll only be seeing them 5 times in the next year now!

I wonder what it's like for German thrash bands to come here. Do they get the same reaction American thrash bands do? I think a lot of the Bay Area thrash fans are pretty US centered.

If I remember correctly, Kreator and Destruction have had several really popular US tours over the last 5 or so years.

I have experienced the following

Kreator and Destruction 2002
Kreator with Vader 2005
Destruction with Vader in 2006
Kreator in 2009
Kreator in 2010

:D

Edit: had one of the years wrong, corrected!

Dunno about their crowds anywhere else, but in Massachusetts, the crowd for Destruction last March was the craziest, most intense crowd I've ever been a part of.

Yeah, and call me crazy, but I'd even go so far as to saying Sodom is more popular than them (more popular than Destruction for sure, maybe not Kreator) so this 2 date bullshit is unacceptable.

Destruction with Vader in 2007

That was 2006, unless they toured together again the next year. What was the rest of the bill?

would LOVE to see sodom (and if they were on the bill) warbringer. but, unfortunately, theres no way i can spend 40+ bucks (ticketassrapemaster + house of blues ripoff prices) to see the show.

instead, i will be seeing GOATWHORE at the Blvd. for 8 bucks. hahahha so worth it.

Kataklysm was also on the bill. I could be wrong about the year?

Edit: Yup, I was wrong, it was indeed 2006!
