Sort of. AC/DC and Van Halen aren't quite what you would call Metal bands but their albums manage to sneak their way onto top 100 metal lists more often than you'd think.

Agreed on both counts. Propagandhi's metal influences started showing up on their earlier albums, too.

cool, cool. i know they get flak from metalheads because they're the typical "go-to" band for the non-musically cognizant (almost as much as the beatles), but almost all their music is definitely legit (not like the beatles)
