Commented DREAM THEATER drummer Mike Portnoy: "Please note these will not be traditional DREAM THEATER shows in terms of production. As it is in the midst of the MAIDEN tour, we are not carrying our usual lighting and video show... So instead these will be small intimate club shows... just like the good (?) ol' days!

"So come sweat it out with us..."

The dates are as follows:

June 21 - Roseland Theater, Portland, OR
July 02 - Newport Music Hall, Columbus, OH
July 10 - Palladium, Worcester, MA

Since Maiden isn't coming to MN., it would be nice if DT would add a date here.

I second that even though I'm traveling to Il to see the Maiden show as well.

Nice :) - I've always wanted to see them from a GA spot instead of a seat. I'll look forward to it.

It could still happen.

There has been word "a date or two" will still be added. I'm hoping it will be a MN date.

This would be amazing, and I would absolutely fucking love to go, but Worcester is way too far given the other stuff I have to plan and pay for between now and mid September. Damn. If there was anything in PA/NJ/NY this would be an absolute no-brainer.

You're already seeing the with Maiden on 7/20 so you'll be getting the best of both worlds. :rocker:

Hopefully they'll do some covers. Then they'll be better than their album!

One would assume a Glorious Burden - Iced Earth track might be in store. That'd be nice, I could go for a little "Declaration Day", not that I'll be there.

Holy shit, I never heard about that group. I am going to have to check it out!
