This show took place at a venue called Constitution Hall which seemed to have been made for speeches, graduations, seminars, and the like rather than rock shows. The interior was very fancy and the carpet and seats were all decked out in stars and stripes. The seats were cushioned and actually comfortable for once which was pretty cool. Anyways, first time seeing AiC and it was a really awesome show. Jerry mentioned that he was "sick as hell" but he'd play for us until he fell over.:horns: The crowd wasn't the best, but they got pretty rilled up when they played the big songs like Man In The Box, Them Bones, etc. I had third row seats all the way to the side but my view wasn't really obstructed and I was very close so it worked out well. After the set I ran up to the stage and both Jerry and William handed me a pick.

The only downside was that they only played 18 songs, presumably because of Jerry's illness. They cut Sickman and Last of My Kind which was a big disappointment because I really wanted to hear both.

It killed me to miss that show but I'm sure they'll be back around... and healthy next time.

And I'm with ya Man. Those are 2 brutal cuts.

Great show even if Jerry was sick. Didn't notice until after that they didn't play Down in a Hole, No Excuses, Sickman, or Angry Chair.
Damn people in the concourse don't wanna freakin stand up either. I mean for the love of God people it's ALICE IN CHAINS!!
