Congratulations!

That is what we did, by the way. One of the last true surprises in life. The moment of discovery is a moment that my wife and I will never forget.

One day you will be able to say "you know son, I announced your conception in an internet thread about a Pestilence tour".

His name. That was my first thought, but for some reason I don't remember his name being Jackson. We'll see, Manks. ;)

Congrats :drinking:Well to be accurate, I was referencing the pending arrival in a few months...the conception is a whole other story entirely. ;)

Funny story about the conception - and one you guys may not like, but it's 100% true, and it does have to do with a love of music, so that's why I'll tell it here...both my three-year-old son and the bun that's currently in the oven were conceived on the night of my wife and I going to see U2. It was for the Vertigo Tour back in 2005, and their latest tour last September, which we went to see in Giants Stadium for our 10th wedding anniversary. True story - no bullshit - and we are 100% certain on the dates.

Apparently, the presence of Bono makes my wife ovulate or something. :D

Yeah I didn't know how else to put it... it's funny how your kids and death metal end up in the discussion. And I don't want to get into any Bono sex puns.

Pestilence was great live when I saw them before. Vital Remains always good. Looks like a fine tour! Could finally see Warbringer if I get a stop around me.

I am so hitting the Gramercy date. This is gonna be a great tour, Pestilence and Warbringer, with the latter finally being a direct support slot. Also interested to see the first three bands granted I have little knowledge of their music.
