Oh, fuck this. I need to see Coheed, and to see 'em with Torche would be even sweeter. I don't even know where Royal Oak, Michigan is, but it sounds far. Goddammit. :bouville:

I might hit up the Boston Show. Saw them in 06 when they co-headlined with A7X and they were fantastic. Hopefully they tour again so you guys get to see them because they put on a hell of a show.

Also.... I heard a song off their new album Year Of The Black Rainbow was released. Is this true? If so i can't seem to find it:bouville:

The Royal Oak Music Theatre is about 10 minutes from my apartment. It's about 35 minutes North of Detroit if that helps you at all.

I may go to this show just to see Torche if tickets aren't too expensive.

For those in the New England area, they're also playing a decent number of venues before this:

03/23/2010 Rochester, NY @ Harro East Theatre & Ballroom
03/24/2010 Syracuse, NY @ The Westcott Theater
03/25/2010 Clifton Park, NY @ Northern Lights
03/26/2010 South Burlington, VT @Higher Ground
03/28/2010 Portland, ME @ Port City Music Hall
03/29/2010 Hartford, CT @ Webster Theater
03/30/2010 Scranton, PA @ Hardware Bar (formerly Tinks)
03/31/2010 Brooklyn, NY @ Music Hall of Williamsburg

I'm half tempted to go on 3/26 just to say I've been to a show in VT.

35 minutes north of Detroit? Where I come from, we call that Canada.

Just leave before them.

I could, but it depends on their set time and the price. I'm pretty sure the opening band sucks too.

Torche in place of BTBAM on the Mastodon tour would have been something else... Their new song is brutal too

Torche should take Valient Thorr's place (people actually like them?) and Baroness could open the show instead.

I haven't listened to them much, but they're more enjoyable to listen to than BTBAM

I'm looking forward to BTBAM too much to have them replaced. Any word on when that Oakland date will be announced?

Nope, it's definitely on May 8th, probably at the Fox assuming it's actually in Oakland.

Damn. If I didn't have Les Claypool & Overkill in April I would definitely hit this up @ Cain's. 2 times I saw them wasn't ever headlining. I consider them one of my guilty pleasure bands.
