Arrived during Cynic's set. Their music sounded decent, but they talked about yoga and meditation between songs which made them sound like douchebags.

BTBAM was at the top of their game. There were intermittent sound problems during their set, but it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the show. Setlist was the same as the rest of the tour. The crowd sang Happy Birthday to Dusty before White Walls.

Obfuscation
Disease, Injury, Madness
More of Myself to Kill
Ants of the Sky
Alaska
Swim to the Moon
White Walls

Not surprisingly, Mike Portnoy (drummer from Dream Theater) was in attendance. He was sitting prominently in the balcony VIP section and a few people on the floor were waving and taking pictures in between Cynic and BTBAM.

Also, the show was sold out and quite packed. I've been to the Troc a few times but never seen it this full.

They were running a bit late though. Cynic finished around 8:55 and BTBAM started at about 9:25.

I had never seen these guys before, was blown away by how good they were. Thought all 4 bands were good, except for the awful autotune Cynic uses with the vocals - we were half expected a guest appearance from T-Pain

Aesthetic choice, not cover-up for lack of ability. Been doing it since '94, son. :D

I know all that, doesnt mean i have to like it. They are a decent band, would enjoy them a lot more if he just did "normal" clean vocals

Fair enough. I really dig their style.

Their music is incredible, and i really like the growl-type vocals - and i thought they were much better live than the reviews i had read on here. This was an incredible 4 band package, I saw very few people leaving between bands.

This was a pretty cool show. Only problem was there were quite a few faggots in attendance. BTBAM is one of those bands with a very gay fanbase, unfortunately. I know they have fans that aren't fags, but there were a lot of people there I don't normally see at major metal shows in the area, meaning they probably don't listen to or care enough about other metal, or they group BTBAM in with metalcore like a lot of people do. For example, while waiting in line outside (which was way too fucking long, btw), some asshole was like "I've never heard of any of these opening bands...they probably suck". But, Devin Townsend was the highlight for me. Cynic was awesome too. Scale the Summit was very refreshing. In fact, I think BTBAM was the band I enjoyed least, even though I do like them, and they put on a great show.

Thanks! Did you upload your videos in order? If so, this is the Cynic setlist:

Nunc Fluens
The Space For This
Evolutionary Sleeper
Celestial Voyage
Adam's Murmur
Integral Birth
King of Those Who Know
Nunc Stans
Wheels Within Wheels

That's the same setlist as other nights, but a different order, which is why I'm asking.
