Definitely not as cool as Cover Band Watain.
Yeah, but I've heard the actual name of that cover band is GWARtain, and they do their thing in big poofy stryofoam outfits, so it might not be as cool as you think. ;)

I think it was one of the "cover band supergroups," or Voivod.

They just opened up some of the cheaper cabins! If you want to get onboard, ya better do it now, because it's almost sold out!!!! Quad cabins start at $666 + 249 per person. Use the promo code: ZZLRZTXL to get an additional 10% off the ticket price ($666, not the 249). Saves ya $66 bucks at least, right?
Cheers!

The 40th band is Circle II Circle. It's not posted anywhere "official" yet, but they posted about it from their Facebook page today.

It's not even a joking matter, I honestly could see this turn into a tragedy. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Anyone see Metal Injection's liveblog from the cruise?
http://www.metalinjection.net/latest-news/metal-injection-liveblogs-70000-tons-metal-week

It sounds like they had a blast. I will be tempted to do this next year if they throw down another solid lineup.

Word on the street is that it's going to be the same week next year, and going to the Bahamas instead of Mexico.

If i had booked earlier, i could have gotten a cheaper cabin, but it ended up being about $1200 for the actual cruise, plus whatever it costs you to fly to Miami. Youll spend money in port and for merch on the cruise. Food plus all non-carbonated/non-alcoholic beverages are included in the $1200.

AnglOvDeth

Total cost?
$948 for cabin
$300 for flights
@$150 for passport
@$60 for transportation
@$30 for hotel (split 3 ways)
$668 for alcohol and merch (only spent $110 in merch)
And I have no idea how much I spent at the pre-party. Maybe @ $50.
TOTAL = @$2206.00 (give or take)

I really hope this doesn't scare anyone off, because it was worth EVERY penny.
