Anyone else get this? I never even knew they were releasing a live DVD from this tour then I examine it and I don't think it was meant to be released here. It's not bootleg because it has interviews with the band and lots of fan footage but it't not incredible quality either. As soon as I saw Creeping Death, Disposable Heroes and Hit the Lights I knew I was buying it.

The also had a 2 DVD, 2 cd set for $69 with some real gems on it like Dyers Eve & No Remorse but I didn't want to go that high.

it's called Orgullo, Pasion, Y Gloria from June 4,6,7 Mexico.

I don't think it's out yet. There is one from France coming out too.

I haven't gotten it yet but it is an official DVD. They released it exclusively in Latin America. They recorded it over three nights in Mexico and I think they just chose the best performances of the 3 nights for the DVD. They did the same thing with a DVD they recorded in France as well which is exclusive to Europe I believe. I guess they think their fans in the US/Canada suck because we don't get special setlists like this or an exclusive DVD:mad:

Yeah I'm watching it now. Creeping Death is the perfect opener. Disposable Heroes was incredible. I was headbanging so hard spit was flying out of my face. Yeah they did 3 songs then an interview and went to another night. Quality is pretty damn good actually. I picked up Clutch - Full Fathom Five also since they had buy 1 get 1 half price and the sound quality is very similiar. Maybe the best $24 I've spent in a long time...

The French one has been out for a couple of months. The Mexican one is out already isn't it?

It's not available in stores here, so we have to ship it at their ridiculous prices. Not happening.

They recorded one of the US shows as well, so there will be a North American one.

I'm hoping, personally, that once they've done them all, they're going to release a box set of all three commercially everywhere.

Also, it's only the deluxe editions that are exclusive to Europe and Latin America. The single disc versions are available on Metallica.com in the US. The deluxe French one isn't in stores in Europe either, so we're as bad off than you are. We still have to pay ridiculous prices and stupid shipping charges.

I didn't see the French one. I only saw this one because it was in the New Releases area. As soon as I saw the 1/2 price deal I went right for Full Fathom 5. The DVD of that show smokes the cd because the cd cut out 4 or 5 songs from the s/t cd.

After watching the Metallica DVD I'm almost thinking I should have got the box set deal. The other DVD had Trapped Under Ice, Dyer's Eve, No Remorse and I think Judas Kiss. If the 2-cd set had those gems it would have been a no-brainer but the 2-cd set was just the original DVD setlist.

Just got the French DVD. It actually came out a week earlier and I missed it. I stand corrected that Blackened as the opener going into Creeping Death is absolutely incredible and a better opener tha CD into Bellz. The setlist isn't as good as the mexico dvd but has Dyer's Eve and seeing them enter the Coliseum through the Gladiator tunnel is amazing. Visually one of the most stunning concerts I've ever watched because of the venue.
