The Seattle area has had five police officers murdered since Halloween. Last night, a local radio station staged a benefit concert called "KISW Salutes the Shield." In addition to the ticket sales ($20), there were lots of auction items up for bid (autographed guitars, drum heads, cymbals, Seahawks & Mariners items, Duff music lesson, etc.) and Queensryche donated all of the proceeds from their merchandise sales to the Lakewood Police Independent Guild (lpig.us). It was a fun night of music, but certainly bittersweet and hopefully a lot of money was raised for the families (the Lakewood officers alone had a combined nine children).
Mike McCready
The Star Spangled Banner
Queensryche (Acoustic)
Sliver
If I Were King
Silent Lucidity
Eyes of a Stranger
Take Hold of the Flame
Loaded
Sick
Executioner's Song
Sleaze Factory
Dark Days
Seattle Head
It's So Easy
Dust N' Bones
Translucent
Wasted Heart
Flatline
Attitude
?
I See Through You
So Fine
Nightrain (with Geoff Tate)
Paradise City (with Geoff Tate)
The Loaded setlist is probably 95% + correct - I cobbled it together from lyric notes and previous setlists. The one song I couldn't figure out was introduced as "Is She Really Going Out with Him" but it certainly wasn't a Joe Jackson cover. :D
