Blind Guardian in '06 was one of the best shows I've ever been to. Still in my top ten or dozen.

75 29-nov-06 Medley de Montréal Blind Guardian Leaves Eyes

yeah it was really good, I enjoyed that concert, but there are bands that I'm more than happy just to have see once in concert, like them, AC\DC or Motley Crue , I,m not into them anymore that's the problem

but Bright Eyes, what a song !

Cheers !

I know what you mean, there are definitely bands that I like just enough to care to see them once (or at least go through the trouble to see them once). It's just hard for me to imagine one of those bands being Blind Guardian considering how much I love them, and how much that love has only grown over the past several years.

Yeah, a European band touring Europe. The insanity!

It's the fact that they haven't toured the U.S. in a while, and it's about time we get our fair share. Not just from the fact that they're from Europe.

They haven't done a headlining tour of Europe since 2006 either. Wait your turn ;)

It's a World tour, not a European tour exclusively, and it will be stretching into 2011.

I was supposed to see them on the tour they did with Leaves Eyes, but my ride bailed on me the night before. I'm waiting eagerly for some US dates, I REALLY want to see these guys.

They are very good live, I think. And very consistent. I've seen them three times. Once headlining in London, and twice at festivals in Sweden and Italy. Hansi is always flawless.
