Something tells me Bad Religon and 2 other great bands will be on this tour. Followed by a days worth of the shittiest bands on the planet.

I think Bad Religion was on it this year...

I think I've heard rumors that Suicide Silence will be on it. Which will keep them off of other tours for a good 3 months, so WOOT!

i think that'd be cool if Suicide Silence was on Warped.

some other bands that would be cool to see and are somewhat warped material:

protest the hero
killswitch engage
august burns red
the human abstract
as i lay dying
glassjaw

ahh fuck it i'm down for Suicide Silence and Whitechapel. Bring Me The Horizon is lame but honestly i got to say their pit was pretty fun last time.

EDIT: i just noticed Sum 41. okay i'm going for sure now.

Because of how much I hate the lineup, I'm glad there is nothing even tempting other than AWK to make me want to go.

I'm on the fence. The atmosphere is pretty fun there, and I think I can avoid the shitty deathcore bands/crunkcore bands well enough to have fun with AWK, Reel Big Fish and Dillinger Escape Plan, among others.

Because adding a "The" gives your band more cred. Sorry, something about this struck me as funny.

I haven't been to a Warped Tour since 2001. While I love the festival atmosphere, this grouping doesn't really encourage me to come back.

I guess it depends on the price?

Yeah. This year's line-up was an abortion, but I had a pretty good time in 2008.

Yeah, that lineup is pretty bad. Andrew WK would be cool, though. Sum-41 might be fun. That's about as far as it goes for me, though. If tickets are cheap enough I might just go for AWK, though, only because I probably have a ton of friends going and it might be fun enough.

No, that'd be better than what was on this year's line-up.

I'm down for this one. This is light years better than what it's been in years. AWK is great and if you are fortunate enough to meet him I encourage everyone to do so if they get the opportunity. Nicest guy you will ever meet in your life. DEP is nice addition. I like ETID for the most part. The Casualties are surprisingly good and are one of the few actually "punk" bands on this faux "punk" festival. I went in '03, '06, & '07. I know in '06 I remember ordering my ticket very early and didn't pay over $30 for it.

I mean yea I'm pissed that SS & Emmure on here but for god sakes there are stages out the ass. It won't be hard to run away from them. Unless you wanna walk by w/ a :finger2: which will be condoned as well. Just my opinion but it looks like they decided to try a little bit this year which is nice. I'm down for sweating my ass off in KC on some blacktop parking lot in August!!! I'm not gonna say this is the be all end all tour of the summer but the price is usually reasonable so it's not a bad way to spend the good part of an afternoon.
