I hope Black Ice wins the best rock album, and Head Crusher has to win the song. It's easily the best one of the five. The only that one that is potentially threatening is Hate Worldwide, but even then that song pales in comparison to Head Crusher. Go Megadeth! :rocker:

Edit: And Alice In Chains easily deserves the Hard Rock song, it rapes any of the others on the list.

I vote for Prince, 21 Guns where applicable, and either Megadeth or Priest.

I'm kinda surprised Dissident Aggressor made it on there. Was that version featured on a video game or something?

lol it's hilarious how everyone on Blabbermouth is pissed off at the metal nominations. as if their underground extreme metal bands who only a few people in the world has heard are gonna get a nominated instead of a well-known band like Slayer, Priest, 'Deth, or LOG.

Still, it's nowhere near a fair representation of what was put out this year.
The Grammys have always been a joke anyway (not just going off the ZOMG FLUTE SONG IS NOT METAL OR BETTER THAN METALLICA).

Being someone who really liked Death Magnetic but hated 1 song... What are the odds they would choose that 1 song?

I guess it sounded the most like Jethro Tull to them...

All I know is I'm on a Boat better win! That's my shit! hahahaha

i agree i hated this song and btw does anyone think Mastodon got snubbed? Crack the Skye was clearly one of the best albums released this year and should have at least garnered a Metal nomination.

I would have to agree. There are other albums I liked even more this year, but probably none of them are closer to the "mainstream" as Mastodon. Therefore, they should have at least received a nomination.

Hence, I'll repeat what I said above: :bigfinger the Grammys.
