Of the 4 times I've seen Metallica on this tour, this was by far the best show I've seen from them. All the bands sounded way better than the night prior to this one. It was overall an incredible evening. And the setlist made it even better...

1. That Was Just Your Life
2. The End of the Line
3. Creeping Death :rocker::rocker::rocker:
4. The Shortest Straw :party:
5. Fade to Black :drool:
6. Broken, Beat, and Scared
7. My Apocalypse :rocker::rocker::rocker:
8. Sad But True
9. One
10. The Judas Kiss :rocker:
11. The Day That Never Comes
12. Master of Puppets :rocker:
13. Dyers Eve :drool: :horns:
14. Nothing Else Matters
15. Enter Sandman

16. Last Caress :blaze:
17. Trapped Under Ice :rocker:
18. Seek and Destroy

Awesome set if you ask me. Lamb of God and Volbeat played the same sets as last night. Overall, an amazing show.

Wow what a great set, even trapped under ice got on there. What was lamb of god's set. Were they brutal?

this set is SO much better than last night's. It's a good thing I ended up not going, because I would have gone to the Saturday night one. Last Caress must have been insane.

Some heavy shit... :rocker::rocker::rocker::party:

Well fuck me for going to the Saturday show.

Well Fuck me for not going to this. Fade To black is the best of the slow and Dyers Eve is the best of the fast, this set covers basically everything good about Metallica, new or old.

I couldn't have written a better setlist. This was my 16th time seeing Metallica but still heard 4 songs I had not heard before (Shortest Straw, My Apocalypse, Judas Kiss, Trapped Under Ice). Other highlights for me were Creeping Death, Fade To Black, and Dyers Eve.

Killer show!

The setlist says it all.
It was my 5th show of this tour (saw Nassau, 1st Newark, ATL, MSGx2) and this was the best of all of 'em..........and the first four were sick too!

:rocker::rocker:METALLICA FOREVER!!:rocker::rocker:

This is easily close to the best if not the best set they've done this whole tour. What i'm wondering is why the set for the first night in NYC decent and the one for the second night was fantastic? You would think they would have made them both as good since there were probably fans who went to one and not the other.

I thought the set I got when I saw them last week was great but this set is just :rocker::horns::drool:

i just lost the game

I fucking hate you.

Best set of the tour yet IMO. Rather have All Nightmare Long than Judas Kiss but bar that this set is near perfect.

Funckin' awsome set!!
Fade to Black, Dyers Eve, and Trapped under Ice made me crazy:rocker:

Does anyone remember the riff Kirk played before encore?

along with some others, this is also the 4th time I saw them on this tour (nassau, albany, msg2x) and pretty much half the setlist was stuff i hadn't seen before: fade to black, shortest straw, my apocalypse, judas kiss, dyers eve, last caress, and trapped under ice (and am I shot or during their little accidents they started playing metal militia?). personally, I feel that this is the kind of setlist that people would give a limb to see.

metallica definitely came steamrolling through new york and saved their best for last, fitting that it was in the most famous arena in the world in the most famous city in the world.

:metal:bravo metallica, bravo:metal:

I think it's safe to say... Best set in 10+ years!

"Battery" would have made this a 10/10.
