I think Ozzy's last tour was only 12 or 13 songs.

maybe I've been spoiled by other older bands like acdc and kiss doing 17 to 20 songs in their recent tours and even Alice Cooper kicks out a shit load of songs even if his voice goes after the 5th song. I love Ozzy's music but I've never seen him live and I guess he has so many great songs that I would be disappointed only seening a handful of them.

I think Ozzy's always played short sets. And yes, on his last US headlining tour, he played 12 songs. I remember I was initially excited about the set because the first show was 18 songs, but it dropped to 13 by the second show.

I seem to remember like 10 songs on the 95 ozzmosis tour..real abrupt but I had seen Ozzy so many times ddint care more excited for the openers

They probably weren't ticket costs were no where near as high 20 years ago as they are now. I've seen Ozzy live 6 or 7 times and he's always done short sets. The longest set i've saw him do was in 1992 when AIC opened:rocker: He played over 90 minutes which is huge for him. Unfortunately the years of heavy alcohol and drug abuse has always taken it's tool on him live even after he got sober. He still has always put on the best performance possible considering how fucked up physically he is.

His sets are always predictable with very few surprises now-a-days but he did do some cool stuff before he got to old. Ozzy once said in an interview the reason he plays the same songs all the time is because there are always people coming to see him for the first time and there's certian songs they wanna hear. I understand where he's coming from on that and with that logic it does make sense why he doesn't change the live set at all.

This show was also a Pay per view..I had gotten it and copied it to a VHS tape...just recently a buddy of mine burnt it to a dvd..still looks and sounds great. Geezer butler on bass, Zakk's first tour...the set is shorter then you think once you factor in that both Sweet leaf and Iron Man are partial songs that blend into the song after it...I too have seen ozzy several times and it is usually never more then 13 or 14 songs at best....same when he rejoined sabbath I saw the new years eve show in 98 and the set was awesome...went the next night in Las Vegas and they cut the set by about 4 songs....and have never gone back to a longer set with Ozzy...
also on the show the Bullet Boys get booed off the stage...they get pissed and that make the crowd even more brutal...had to hurt since they were actually live pay per view...:tp:
