Overkill are set to kick off the new year after signing on to Nuclear Blast and released some info about their upcoming album due out January 29th, 2010 - Ironbound, and are planning an accompanying European tour. According to the article the band will be returning to their "old school thrash roots" which hopefully means it won't too much like Immortalis. If that's the case it may be worth it to consider getting the green LP :cool:

I hate to be the bearer of bad metal news (actually, I don't always, but I certainly do when it's Overkill-related), but:

I have it; been listening to it for the last few days (mentioned it a couple of times in the 'Now Listening' thread). It's monotonous and shit. Such a massive disappointment. And at least one of the riffs is a direct rip-off of, I think, Metallica, but I can't remember which fucking song it is.

If you like all of their songs to sound exactly the same you'll love it.
