That picture of Arsis is fucking terrible. Can't even tell which one is James.

But:

EXODUS + ARSIS? YES.

They'll probably fuck it up by having Killswitch Engage headline, though.

I bet Behemoth headlines. Aren't they on Nuclear Blast too?

Exodus/Arsis is pretty cool, assuming it's Exodus. Arsis would be awesome to finally see.

I think Behemoth are on Metal Blade for the US, Nuclear Blast for Europe.

Definitely be checking tomorrow for the last band. I'm sort of curious now.

Somebody read over the questions and make sure it's really Exodus...I only went by comments.

People say Exodus, but they've only released 9 CD's unless you count a compilation CD.

People say Testament, but they have more then 2 original members in the band.

I think it's Exodus because one of the answer was "One of our former members went on to sell a lot of records." and while Testament did have Dave Lombardo, Exodus had Kirk Hammett.

interesting. not really a fan of Exodus though, i'd much rather have Testament.
but i'm there for Arsis. i've been wanting to see them for awhile.

very curious to see who the headliner is though.

I am def an Exodus fan and honestly I do prefer Dukes over Baloff. I know how important Baloff was for thrash and for Exodus. But just for voice alone I prefer Dukes over Baloff. I love both and think they are still better than when Souza was w/ them. And I still prefer Exodus over some of the other thrash bands but thats just my opinion.

Closed minded as hell. Not even worth responding. If you like moaning and out of key singing, go for it man. Think about why they kicked him out RIGHT after the BBB tour.

Zetro >>>>> Dukes and Baloff (especially the latter)

I think Baloff would be recognized as a much better singer than he is now if Bonded By Blood didn't sound like a goddamn demo. The vocals sound very distorted in that one.

It's definitely Arch Enemy headlining. I guess I'd go to this.

Arch Enemy
Exodus
Arsis
Mutiny Within

Exodus + Arsis, moreso the latter, is more than enough reason to attend. And what I've heard of Arch Enemy ain't too bad either.

Arch Enemy/Exodus/Arsis? I'll go.

Good job.

Seriously dude, you're hating on Baloff way too much. I'm on the same boat as you are thinking that Zetro is better, but Baloff wasn't nearly as bad as you're making him out to be.

This is a pretty sick tour. Arch Enemy is the shit and Exodus killed live when i saw them in April. Arsis is also good. I might have to attend.

I know the tour is supposed to be officially announced today, but it seems the Palladium let the cat out of the bag a few hours early (even if everyone knew it was Arch Enemy). They're advertising AE/Exodus/Arsis/Mutiny Within for Saturday, January 16th. Which is weird, cause that's the same day the Nile tour is scheduled to be there, so I don't know if they plan on merging the tours for one big night of awesome, or if the AE date is wrong because the Nile one has been there for awhile.

This is the busiest January that I remember. Usually, for me, January is a quiet month with maybe one show to go to. Korpiklaani, Nile, Arch Enemy/Exodus, and Epica all in the same month this time around.

I MIGHT be able to go to the MN. But I'd pretty much only be going for Exodus and Arsis. I haven't heard enough Mutiny Within to have an opinion on them and I've never been a huge Arch Enemy fan, no matter how hot Angela is.

The ONLY way I'll be able to go to this is if I skip the first two days of returning to Bing for spring semester. According to the calender, it says that the 21st (a Thursday) we just return, and the Friday (the day of the show) we start registering for classes. Hmmm......:hmm:

No doubt. Fuck that. I guess I could try to make the 1/29 gig in Chicago, if I could get my wife to agree to a trip home to see her parents (they live in NW Indiana). It would probably depend on whether Arch Enemy eventually gets confirmed as the headliner or not. I would make the road trip for Arch Enemy / Arsis / Exodus (although I have to say that the modern Exodus lineup does almost nothing for me...I likeded the old school shit bestest).

mankvill
10-13-2009, 12:39 PM
Arch Enemy is definitely the headliner. The tour is:

Arch Enemy
Exodus
Arsis
Mutiny Within

And although I agree with you about modern Exodus, they are still pretty awesome live.

I was just kidding. A lot of people bitch about good tours not coming to their respected states so i thought i would make light of it.

Though i am pretty sad that Between The Buried and Me and Black Dahlia Murder's Headlining tour arent coming here.

Oh. Yeah. I would be sad if I liked either band, but I don't. I really think New England is lucky enough when it comes to tours that when something DOESN'T come here, it's hard to complain about. From where I live, I'm 10 minutes from Providence, 35 from Worcester, an hour and a half from Hartford, and just over 3 hours from NYC. 99% of tours that hit the East Coast hit atleast one of those.

Back on topic, this January is going to be busy as all hell. I think I have a concert every weekend. So as much as I'd like to see this, Nile, Korpiklaani, and Epica all take precedence so this is on the maybe list.

I live in Northeast MA. So its about 20 mins to Boston 1hr 15 min to Worcester 1 hr to Providence and a little over 2 hours to Hartford.
