Well thank Jesus, it's about time Megadeth changed up the setlist. Fucking awesome one at that. Super small complaint is only one Endgame song, but whatever, the inclusion of Devil's Island and Rattlehead is awesome. Bring it to your home country Dave!

Good set (RATTLEHEAD!), but what the hell, Dave? If I'm not mistaken, you promised to play 5 Magics. :finger2:

Oh, and I'd wager there will be more Endgame songs when they hit the US as this was a coheadline with Slayer and I don't think they've played NZ for some time so they probably want to give those fans some older material.

On the one hand, this isn't exactly new. I more or less saw that set back in 2006. On the other hand, I'd gladly go see it again. Theres only two new songs there, and that's probably as good as it's gonna get.

Plus, yay, Dave is actually playing a KIMB song that isn't Rattlehead.

???

You won't get this in Vegas.

They'll be playing the Endgame set list on the US tour. Still I am really, really looking forward to the show. The album kicks ass and I wouldn't mind even if they played only Endgame from Track 1 to Track 11 and no other songs.

If they keep this setlist it will be the best megadeth show I reckon I'll ever see.

That is all.

Dave said in an interview recently that they were trying to work up to a forty song repetoire. He mentioned songs like Five Magics and Black Friday as being songs that will be played on this upcoming tour. Glad to see him following through, and playing these great songs again. Can't wait to see them in Richmond, VA.

That's a cool set STWA is an awesome opener. A little surprised to see Devil's Island in their maybe that means doing stuff like The Cojuring, Black Friday and 5 Magics is a possibility. No one mentioned the biggest surprise though and that's In My Darkest Hour wasn't played:confused:

This won't be the set once the Endgame tour officially beings. There will at least be 4 or 5 more new songs in there which is fine by me because Endgame in a very good album.

I don't think it's that big of a suprise that Devil's Island was played. It's not really a satanic kind of song. It's based on the book/movie Papillon.

The Slayer set is sick and Ghosts is one of the best songs on it.

I actually agree with JRA, that song is starting to bore me. Play Postmortem instead :horns:

Nice Megadeth set, hope they play 1,320 on the Endgame tour.
