Can't say I'm surprised that there's nothing older than Comalies material on there, but it's still a little disappointing. They're an old favorite, but I haven't seen them since Ozzfest 06, so I was thinking of going to see them and leaving before ATR, but I don't think I can justify a 3 hours roundtrip driving for 9 songs. Maybe, but I doubt it now.

how was ATR? Thought about going to this show, but passed on it.

I know ATR has a decent ammount of popularity right now with "Two Weeks" getting radio rotation earlier this year but how do they headline over Lacuna Coil? They have just about the same popularity as ATR in America if you ask me. I don't get why LC would take this opening slot instead of doing their own tour to support Shallow Life.

It's cool to see Survive and I'm Not Afraid being played those are my two favorite off the new one. I think if they had a headline show they would at least do one off Unleashed Memories that album does need more representation. Not sure if they would do anything off of In A Reverie though or even when the last time they played anything off that was. Anything's better than having a set dominated by shit off Karmacode like they did for the last 3 years.

I went in just as they were going on and left as soon as they were done. The only reason ATR was headliner is because they get more radio play. LC sells more albums.

you sure about that? ATR's latest has sold according to wiki 188,000 copies and counting.

I haven't seen any numbers recently but I know from Lacuna Coil Comalies has sold somewhere in the 300,000 range and I think their last one Karmacode is in the 150,000 to 200,000 range in the US. This is based on info i've read over the past couple years nothing I can really confirm for sure but I don't see why these numbers wouldn't be that far off from what i've read. I checked on their newest album Shallow Life and it says it has sold 75,000 copies so far in America. Not too bad at all for a band who gets no radio support and deffinately in some stiff competion with ATR in total album sales. LC might even be better than them overall in the sales department.

The argument for this to be a co-headlining tour is a very valid one and LC's management should've not taken the spot unless it was that. The only reason I can see taking this opening slot is to prove they're a better band than ATR. Otherwise they should've just toured on their own like they were doing before this. But LC always tours non-stop for awhile to support their newest releases so another North America headline tour will still happen.
