Well, I'm in an interesting position. My birthday, November 24th, is my last day of classes. Baroness are playing in Detroit. Rob Zombie is playing in Louisville. I'm not sure if I can make either, but I want to make both. I'll be really disappointed if I don't see any show that night.

Hm. I've never seen Zombie, but I've seen Baroness in support spots twice. That's a tough choice.

I would LOVE to go to the Philly date. Unfortunately the city date is very inconvenient, but I would like to see how realistic it is to get from Binghamton to Philadelphia. Any help, Maiden33? ;)

Wonder if we'll get any European dates this time. He's travelling to Japan, so clearly open to foreign dates.

And it's about time he went back to the horror-based material. Much as I loved 'Educated Horses' (actually my favourite album), it didn't make for the great stage shows he's famous for. I hope he does those again.

Definitely seeing this in Louisville now. Very excited. The show of his I saw in 2006 is still among the best I've seen from a stage set/theatrics/frontman personality perspective.

Maybe. It's a Wednesday, and two days (I believe) before Ensiferum/Hypocrisy. But I would very much like to finally see him.

Hmm, there's a possibility I'll go to this if tickets aren't real expensive (which I bet they will be). Never seen Rob Zombie, but my friend says they're really awesome live. He saw them at his first metal show and they were with Ozzy.

Sawdust in the Blood
American Witch
Demon Speeding
Living Dead Girl
Creature of the Wheel
More Human than Human
Never Gonna Stop (The Red, Red Kroovy)
Let it All Bleed Out
House of 1000 Corpses
Super-Charger Heaven
Foxy Foxy
Thunder Kiss '65
Superbeast
Dragula
The Lords of Salem

That's what he played when I saw him. If he does basically that again, maybe finding room for Black Sunshine and Feel So Numb (and War Zone, sigh), I'd be a happy man.

This is nonsense now that there's a new album, so I don't know what I want the setlist to look like. Surprise me, Rob!

New date, 11/25 in Columbus!! Much closer than Louisville (or Lousyville, as I like to call it), so happy birthday to me!

Totally forgot that I saw him on Ozzfest, John 5's debut tour with him.
I thought it was a good show even though it was only about 60 mins and there were no stage... enhancements?
From what I've seen/heard he doesn't quite give Alice Cooper a run for his money, but it should be good.

I saw him in 2006 and he nearly did (having not seen Alice but knowing the reputation), and that was his "stripped-down" tour. I think with the Hellbilly Deluxe motif back en vogue, it's gonna be intense.

That's what I'm hoping for, especially for a $35 ticket.

I honestly think both songs are pretty weak. I was expecting something a bit different under the surname "Hellbilly". The riffs are really mediocre, and Zombie's melodies are really boring. It seems that he is just much more into making movies now and music is his "side thing". Stick with the movies Mr.Cummings :bouville:

The 2 songs I have heard are definitely weak. If the rest aren't any better I will be skipping this one. Depending on the set list I may skip the tour as well. I'll see Megadeth twice instead.

:hmm:

Another reason John 5, not Gus G should be playing guitar for Ozzy.

Great. He'd better not play too much new shit. I want to be familiar with the material I'm seeing.

That's a win. You know what, after hearing those first two songs, don't bother releasing it.

Im not really too excited for the new Zombie album either after hearing how bad What? was. Sick-Bubblegum was alright but really nothing too special. I expected a lot better from Zombie especially when he puts Hellbilly Deulxe in the title.
