... how many of us here are on some form of a Maiden kick at the moment? I've been doing my epic journey through their entire discography, but it seems like every time I turn around, everyone else is listening to them or discussing them. Obviously we all have the Maiden bug to a degree, but it seems like lately almost everyone is listening to them.

I've pretty much been on a Maiden kick since they announced the Florida show back in February. Plus it's hard to get em off my mind (and my ipod) when I put away a portion of all my paychecks to my Maiden tour fund. ;)

This, though compared to a lot of other bands I'm always on a relative Maiden kick.

Yeah, I don't know if a week or even five days can pass without me putting Maiden on. I'm not sure if that has even happened since 2003.

was never really a big Maiden fan, sometimes think they are a tad bit overrated, but i'll put them on occasionally. favorite song probably being aces high.

i never dissed them i said i just think people worship them too much and many people can't realize that not everyone's favorite band is maiden. learn to accept other peoples' tastes.

yaa i know that they are a great fucking band but i just get irritated at times that people can get completely bashed for saying the slightest bit of negatively towards them.

How?

My boss has an old Bose radio, with super loud bass. So I plugged in my ipod and put my entire Maiden catalog on shuffle. The radio is in the back, but I was up front, so i had to turn it up extra loud to hear.
