Goddamnit, I saw the title and instantly thought Megadeth/Slayer tour. Last night's fake dates has got me on edge for some real ones. lol

November 2 – Baltimore, MD @ The Ottobar

That's a really small place, I'm surprised Sonar didn't book this tour for the club stage or something.

I think I'm going to try to get my dad to pick me up from school on the 23rd and let me watch my brother's football game on the 24th then go to the Columbus concert on the 25th and be back at school for class on the 26th.

EDIT: His last game is the 17th so I'm not seeing this tour.

Not interested in either Trap Them or The Black Dahlia Murder. Skeletonwitch & Toxic Holocaust are cool, though, but I'm going to pass.

So, I guess I'll show up just before it starts, listen to Toxic Holocaust and Skeletonwitch, and get back to my dorm to catch some sleep before Monday morning classes.

Its weird. Typically, I would have to drive (my own car) 90 miles to see this show, but this time I will have to walk/catch a bus 2.8 miles.

The Black Dahlia Murder
Skeletonwitch
Toxic Holocaust
Trap Them

November 6 – Cleveland, OH @ Peabody’s Down Under

This is going on my radar screen.

BDM - not bad - could take 'em or leave 'em
Skeletonwitch - heard 'em / like 'em / never seen 'em (but would love to)
Toxic Holocaust - never really listened to 'em / hear many good things (including that they are awesome live)
Trap Them - heard 'em / like 'em / never seen 'em (but would love to)

...and it's at Peabody's. Nice.

I think I am gonna try to work out seeing this in Columbus. There's a Dali exhibit at the Dayton Art Institute at that time as well, so a weekend trip home would be worth it I think.

Also, this is awesome because Skeletonwitch and Toxic Holocaust are basically the extent to which I'm interested in the thrash revival and they're sharing a stage.

Not saying any of the bands are bad, I could just care less, and they don't demand my attention. Of course Midnight were fun live, and I'm sure all these bands would be.

:

They are arguably the best band of the 2000's.
Definitely in the top 3.
