"I have been rehearsing with a new band, and we will start touring in early 2010, representing all the back catalogue of solo material, from 'Ki', 'Addicted', PHYSICIST, ZILTOID, TERRIA, OCEAN MACHINE, THE DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND, INFINITY etc... I have some big plans for this and rehearsals are sounding amazing. The touring entity will be called 'DEVIN TOWNSEND' and is essentially a way for me to get out there and interact again and showcase 15 years of music that never really got its fair shake. We look forward to seeing you out there!"

Can't ever make up his mind, can he? Haha. Before Ki came out, I remember him saying that he would only be doing select dates, but not until all four of the DTP albums were out.

Nevertheless, this should be awesome, can't wait.

I have a feeling that will be exclusively DTP material.
Whether or not this was planned, I'm stoked that he'll be touching the entire solo catalouge, especially this soon.
Still, I never got to see SYL...

woah, two albums in one year? nice!

Yeah, it says he will begin recording the fourth record, Deconstruction in October. I just noticed that Deconstruction is supposed to be the 3rd record (from the title it would make sense).
Anyway, if you look back on his discography, after not putting out anything in 2008, 2 records in one year isn't anything new.

This is the album I was looking forward to the most out of the four coming out. Stuff like Ocean Machine and Accelerated Evolution are my favorite stuff from Devin. The big choruses, heavy guitar riffs, stuff that makes me feel good! Perfect summer music. Cant wait to hear Addicted!

Also looking forward to the tour in 2010, thats great news to hear. I saw DTB open up for Strapping one time but I wasnt too familiar with his stuff then. I've seen Strapping many times but always wanted to see Dev solo again.
