God what a great show. I'm not going to write much as I'm running on low energy.

First up was some band that didn't know how to play thrash. And I fucking hate the singer. He checked his phone at least 20 times during the 30 minute set. How the fuck do you expect to gain fans when you don't even give a shit that you're on stage.

Next was Sacrificial Slaughter. They were tight but crowd involvement was at a minimum.

Next was some band that I don't remember.....

Horrid was fucking horrid. The singer seemed like a douche and kept complaining about sound every other second. He also only talked in an annoying snarly voice, which pissed me off.

Next was a band callled With a Vengeance. No complaints.

Next band was Dreaming Dead. Holy shit the chicks in that band are hot. Look out Angela Glossow. Very good music.

Next was the band I came to see, Burning at the Stake. Let me start off by saying that they are some of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet. They even gave a shoutout to my band during their set, which is probably the coolest thing that's ever happened to me at a metal show.

Their stage presence is great. They really put on a show. Every member of the band is so talented and intent on putting on a great show. Their songs sounded exactly of the tracks recorded on their myspace (http://www.myspace.com/burningatthestakeofficial)

I'm not exactly sure of the setlist, but I'll try to confirm it by tomorrow.

I bought a sick t-shirt, designed by the lead singer. If you want some cool metal artwork to look at, you should also check out the singers myspace (http://www.myspace.com/godlessclothing)which contains his art pieces.

Even though they were not headlining, I feel obligated to put their name on the setlist title since they were by far the best band that performed tonight, and the reason that I showed up at all.

The next band was Goreaphobia. Their music was pretty good, but mostly I was just drawn to the band because of the singers gear, which is friggin crazy. So many masks, rings, gloves, and all crazy awesome shit hahaha.

Regretfully, I was only able to see part of Crematoriums set, due to gay curfew set by parents. They were very good from what I saw. And since I missed Crematorium, I also missed the headliner, Master :(.

Anyways, if you live in the southern california area and love death metal, see burning at the stake! they never fail to put on a great show!
