I think I'm officially out of comments already.

maybe the other guys in the band are complete and utter douchebags? just a thought

I read this earlier. If Nelson and Anthrax part ways, I think I will officially lose all hope in Anthrax, unless they announce another reunion with Bellodonna.

he hasnt even been in the band that long

Honestly @ this point I'm really beginning to think it might be an Ian/Benante thing. Obviously I don't know details but yea I think Anthrax will be no more if this doesn't work out. At this point I think they are pretty damn lucky to be on singer # 4 and still be doing anything. I'm still hoping that they can get over this but still you just never know.

Damn, it's a fucking shame that Anthrax are going to lose him (at least that's my prediction), I actually liked his vocals. Why does Scott Ian have to be such a turd in choosing vocalists. The only thing that would save them is getting a Belladonna reunion, and that aint likely.

Never going to happen, but John Bush reunion FTW.

They could reunite with John OR Joey and it would be pretty sweet. If they have to find ANOTHER new singer before the album with this one even comes out, it's more than a little depressing for them.

Such a joke. They were on fire when they had Bush frontin a few years ago. I like to think of all the recent gayness associated with Anthrax as karma for them going for that failed cash-grab reunion with Joey.

I hadn't thought about this before, but I agree.

What a joke.
I've never really listened to the newer Anthrax, but is that song a joke too?

Hopefully the one-off with Bush leads to them getting back together and possibly getting back the fuck on track, 'cause they have been totally off for the past 3 years really.

edit: I wonder what this means about the new album... would they Glorious Burden it?

What, rent Ripper Owens only until they can get Joey or John back?

...

Maybe.

Holy shit, this is insane. Anthrax are like the fucking new soap opera here. Just disband already now, seriously. Scott Ian is a shitty songwriter now anyway.

Well obviously he has the range, I don't think he necessarily has the right voice. It would be a terrible fit.

Well I'm sure they just can't be like "Hey Ripper! Come and sing for us!" He is already doing his solo stuff and is still technically in Yngwie's band. So an audition wouldn't even be likely.

I give this about another 2 years, or however long it takes to do another album and tour. In his career, Yngwie has never held a singer longer than 2 consecutive albums, and a couple for only one.

makethemsuffer12

^Well that's kind of as expected. Especially considering Ripper is somewhat the "Whore of Metal" these days lol.

I might be getting greedy but I would love to see them get back w/ Bush. Having got to see Joey already and recently seeing Nelson, Bush is the only vocalist I have not got to see. I think Anthrax would have too much pride to ask Joey or Bush to permanently. Thats messed up they might go as far as to remove Nelson from the entire new CD.

They have cancelled all of their shows with slipknot and all european shows except for their sonisphere festival appearence with jon bush.

Why the fuck?

Shouls be good seeing bush again and this also means they wont be playing stuff off the new album ;)

Also this is shaping up to be their last concert ever!

I cant see them suriving after this.

They'll probably get with flavor flav again lol

If they are bringing bush back why cant they finish the tour with him and they can do new songs from the album with bush because nelson sounds close to him.

Probably because John Bush has his own life and obligations to Armored Saint, and thus can't just drop everything on a few days notice and go on tour for a month.
