No, that song's not bad at all, and they're an entertaining live act, but come on dude this isn't great black metal. ;)

Okay, this is pretty fucking good. It's like the Dimmu that I don't hate. I might have to give them a legitimate second chance. Thanks buddy. :D

While I do like some of the more soundscape/kvlt black metal (Wolves in the Throne Room, Xasthur, etc.), I think I like balls-out aggression more. Dark Funeral FTW.

I like these guys quite a bit. Had no idea they were coming out with a new album next month until their Myspace posted something about it, though.

I always thought they were pretty good, but they never like REALLY latched on to me that much. Most likely because I've just never been that big of a Black Metal fan.

You mean Cradle of Filth. This track sounds much, much more like them. It really just sounds like a ripoff of old CoF--which, honestly, has my respect for being original and doing its own style quite well.

I rarely differentiate the two in my head.

Ah sad... Dimmu and Cradle are worlds apart, you should see that plain as day ;)

I'm not more inclined to taste my own feces when it comes in diarrhea form, as opposed to stool form. Why would I choose to differentiate between Dimmu and CoF?

Whoa... You don't even like Dimmu? Cradle is shitty yes, very very... But what do you have against Dimmu?

Their music and their fans and their appearance.

I've never met you. I don't know if I like you or not.

There's songs by Dimmu and Cradle that I like. None of those songs have come off of their most recent albums though, so neither of them are presently enjoying my fandom.

I guess I would say I'm more a fan of Dimmu's new stuff more then old. From 2001-Now, Those 3 Albums, I say they are my favorites because they had the best production value and overall best music.

I say I'm a fan of black Metal, but I don't like "kvlt" black metal or whatever. Dimmu, 1349, and bands like that are only what I really go for.

I think a lot of the Dimmu/Cradle hate is derived from "true nekro kvlt black metal" opinions people had, which is kinda the same shit that got churches burned and people killed. Music's either good or bad, fuck "tr00ness".

That said, most of Dimmu and Cradle's music is bad.

Vresbyrd had a catchy chorus riff, which Dimmu were too stupid to exploit.

So much hate for Dimmu here, it's fairly sad... Good Riffs, Solid Drums, great Keyboards, I mean the only thing I honestly think would be their biggest turn off are the vocals in the band. But oh well, still one of my favorites lol
