:blaze::blaze::blaze::blaze:

Slayer
Testament
Megadeth
Exodus
Metallica

In roughly that order.

Megadeth are probably my favorite but two of my three favorite albums of theirs aren't even thrash so I dunno how to judge that.

A couple weeks ago when I realized that "Scream Aim Fire" was my guilty pleasure, I was seriously asking why BFMV aren't considered a metal band because that song certainly is thrash enough to consider it that.

But then I listened to more songs. :hecho:

overkill and sodom for me

lots of other thrash bands started out good and ended up sucking, but these two have been pretty good with only a couple hit or miss albums.

I still like them.

Aside from terrible lyrics, the other songs I've heard off of Scream Aim Fire aren't terrible, but there's one song, I don't remember, off their earlier that is just terrible. I remember the music video has the band playing in rain. That's all I remember.

edit: TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE LET'S SEE HOW MANY TIMES I CAN SAY IT

How the fuck did I forget Sodom? They're my favorite Teutonic Thrash.

Well as far as my favorite goes it's really hard for me to choose between Vio-Lence and Megadeth.

Of the big 4: Slayer
Outside: Kreator

Megadeth, with Anthrax and Kreator shortly behind.

That album is metal. The rest of their stuff isn't.

Only four-ish songs on that album are metal, the rest are metalcore garbage.

And I'd have to say Megadeth for the four, followe closely Slayer.
As for everything else, I would say Kreator.

Exodus for me no question. Always stuck to their guns, still kick complete ass, but on a fucking true crazy thrash live show.

I want to give Sepultura props here if no one else will. Beneath the Remains is THE greatest riffs album of all time and Arise is one of the best thrash discs ever produced.

i would deff say Megadeth are my favorite overall (and in the Big 4). Outside the big 4, Testament are my favorite...

I have say Metallica is my favorite in the big 4 and and then its a 3 way tie between Pantera, Testamenr and Kreator.

Nope.

So then what's Scream, Aim, Fire? Thrash?

Well if you said Sacred Reich, Destruction, Anvil, Heathen, and Sabbat, we'd all think you were the ass who was trying too hard to look "ist krieg." :D

Proably old school Metallica followed by Testament,Slayer and Megadeth. Even though Pantera is "groove" metal i like them more than all these bands i previously listed.

My fave new thrash band is Municipal Waste followed by Lazarus A.D and Skeltonwitch.
