cantrell could of just taken over on vocals instead of getting a new guy.

Agreed. It would sound better than this. I really don't like the riff, it's not Alice in Chains to me. We'll see how the whole album is.

I don't think it's that bad. It can get a bit boring sometimes, but to be honest, a lot of Alice In Chains could get boring to me in the 1st place, but dont' get me wrong, they were still good!

I think the first half of the song is better than the second half as well, but it's a decent overall effort. I'll have to wait til the full record comes out.

I liked the song, but I've only listened once so far.

RIP
Layne Staley

omg the celebrities just dont stop dying this week do they

edit: To be honest, I was never the biggest AIC fan to begin with, but this song really does absolutely nothing for me. :(

I guess I didn't dislike it, but I totally wasn't feeling it at all either.

In the process of finishing up my first listen and I'm pretty impressed. I thought 7 minutes might be a little much but I really like it. Going off of Cantrell's solo albums I think he probably could have pulled it off but from the live videos I've seen the new guy does a pretty good job. Since I was never lucky enough to see them w/ Layne this will be almost as exciting. Can't wait for the new album.

A couple bright spots in the track, but nothing special.

I think the video is almost better than the song.

Finally got round to listening to this. Fucking brilliant. Love it! But then, I did expect to. Very pleased they've gone nice and heavy.

I've seen them with Will (who's own band, Comes With The Fall, are great as well), and he's perfect for them. Does an excellent job live.

I was expecting the worst when you wrote that up. The chorus part is a little cheesy but other than that I love it.
