I started hearing Immortal (later stuff granted) in a different way recently, and realized that its some of the best metal made this decade. HUGE riffs. I have a good feeling that this album isn't going to be lame.

I hope its accompanied by a US tour.

Although I can't say I really liked the last 2 albums.

I'm definitely pumped for this. I prefer their blackened thrash era so I assume this will be a continuation of that, which is good.

I'm still not sure what to say about this. I'm sure I'll hear it.

Sons of Northern Darkness and Damned in Black kinda sucked.

I want more of the old school stuff. Or if they must stay more "mainstream" then a continuation of At the Heart of Winter.

Sons of Northern Darkness definitely did not suck

Sons of Northern Darkness definitely did not suck

Compared to their older releases is definitely did.
It's better than a lot of metal I hear and I certainly enjoy it, but it's got nothing on old Immortal.

I'm in the minority but I think SOND is their best record.

I like Sons, I also think that Between Two Worlds was amazing... even though it's not the same style that Immortal plays.

I don't even listen to Immortal but I agree that Between Two Worlds is amazing.

I agree, it has the most memorable songs and riffs hands down, thus I enjoy listening to it the most.
