I'm filling my own request. Found the setlist on youtube. From what I can tell they were on fire.

1. Intro
2. Kirsute Gomen
3. Down From the Sky
4. Throes of Perdition
5. Rain
6. Like Light To Flies :rocker:
7. When All Light Dies :rocker:
8. Into The Mouth of Hell
9. Fugue :rocker:
10. Anthem
11. A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation
12. Pull Harder on the Strings :rocker:

The vids I've seen on youtube are incredible! They tore it up. One more album and they might be able to headline the festival. See if you notice anything different about the bass player.

Kirsute Gomen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUOMt1FYqcg

Into the Mouth of Hell: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u58T0CWpOmk

Also I tracked down the setlist from their first download trip which has taken me months to find which seems to be pretty hard to find.

he always sings, i got back and forth on if i like how he sings or not, right now i love it. He looks good with short hair alittle out of place but still cool.

Shogun really restored my faith in this band. It's also good to see they're playing some other songs off of Ember, and good ones at that.

ya they are on fire right now. I liked the Crusade though, not as much as their first two albums but still. Shogun is a very kick ass album.

I'm trying to get into these guys for the Mayhem Fest. This setlist looks like a good place to start. Are there any other songs not listed here that are really worth checking out? Thanks!

they really did a great job of incorporating all of my favorites into this setlist.

A personal favorite of mine that is most likely never played live, is the song "The Poison, the Knife, or the Noose" off Shogun

I believe it's a bonus track but it's definetely worth checking out.

Man I would love it if they played that song live or even Upon The Shores. Both very kick ass songs.

You know what they need now? A cover album. They've already got it started with Master of Puppets and Iron Maiden, they could add Breaking the Law, Angel of death (slayer) Caught In A Mosh, Symphony of Destruction, and a pantera song.

Sadus were my favorite band for 10 years. Total speed metal with one of the best bass players on the planet Steve DiGiorgio. They're often compared to Slayer but they're more like Vio-Lence with better vocals.

I still think Swallowed in Black is one of the 20 best cd's ever made. Between Exhorder - The Law, Violence - Opressing the Masses and Sadus I've been on a total 80's thrash kick. Listening to Dark Angel - Darkness Descends right now and that's right up there too.

I've finally gotten into these guys. I checked out Birdflesh too. Not my thing but interesting to say the least.

My friend asked me to describe Trivium and I said old school meets nu metal kinda. I hear some Metallica in there and some Bullet for my valentine also.

The only song we didn't mention that absolutely kills is that Scylla song on Shogun. Bad ass!
