Live double picture disk gatefold?
I've gotta hand it to them for pulling out all the stops on this one. Getting major artwork done that will only appear on the inside of a live album is pretty impressive.

How much was it, where from, and how is the sound?

This "concert" (sixteen cities, but still operates as one) is the best Maiden live material available. I love the DVD so much.

$20 ONLY (Well, $22 after shipping crap)! I was shocked... I had to order it from Bestbuy.com because it wasn't sold in stores at the time. So i ordered it Tuesday (standard mail), got it Saturday. It sounds very good!

One song from each show of the first leg, I believe. New Jersey, Toronto, and LA are all covered. Lots of South and Central America, the Mumbai show, and the Australia shows.

Yeah, Jersey's song is Rime and Toronto's is Hallowed, so we're both pretty fucking lucky song choice-wise I think.

It was great. The live performances are top-notch, and the behind-the-scenes stuff was funny and interesting. Janick's impression of Rod cracks me up  It was cool to see a cross-section of Maiden fans around the world. Latin American Maiden fans are fucking crazy (in a good way). It really goes to show how beloved they are internationally.

I really liked Bruce's tour diary in the limited edition. "Rod was mugged by several pints outside the bar last night."

I was talking to my band after we all saw it and we think that it brings the whole world of Maiden closer. Now we can see each other on DVD from all over the world and say "Hey, he is no different from me when it comes to Maiden!"

That's what I think about it really, it's a truely touching peice of film. You really feel for the guy who crys talking about them before the show in Columbia.

Got it on blu ray and absolutely love it.
Big screen plasma+blu-ray+Iron Maiden=brilliant!

I'v even shown the docu to friends who are not really Maiden fans and they are beyond impressed about how big they still are and how unbelievable was the feat they pulled.
That was MACHO.
