Dude, are you serious? I am no Catholic/Christian/hardcore religious individual, I'm agnostic, but are you really justifying that statement? They do not expect God to stop death, they pray for His help and guidance in rough times, some more than others.
God cannot stop the cycle of life, and that includes death. If there is a God, it's been proven by hundreds of years of death that this God would not stop the natural flow of certain things.

I'm definitley not the one that has the right to make a comment about tasteful or not but really is this the time to make unnecessary comments like that god or no god? We should really just try to be respectful. Sure it's tragic when anyone has to die from cancer. Unfortunately it was Tom Araya's sister and that's why we are talking about it.
