there was a time where i would argue the opposite, but having both has shown me that each have their pluses.

My grandma has three cats: Snow Pea, Mr. Peanut, and Miss Kitty, and when I was growing up she had two, Cocoa and Whisker that I loved (they've since died). We don't keep pets in my house (I'm actually terribly allergic), but I love those cats regardless.

At my house, we currently have a Siberian Husky/Collie mix named Creeper, a fat black cat named Chupa, a purebred something-or-other named Zion, a Maine Coon named Burr, and a ball python we are trying to get rid of. Used to have two chinchillas (named Barret and Princess) and a dove named Falco, but those didnt come with us to the new house.

My grandmother/aunt house two old cats named Lucky and Pablo, two younger cats named Precious and Chevy (found her in a 55 Chevy), a kitten we are trying to give away, a Garfield who got hit by a car and took refuge in the garage, a grey female that was impregnated by the aforementioned cripple, an old German Shepard named Rasha, a Chihuaha named Brutus, and a fatass tiny mutt named Taz.

Seeing as how I spend my weekends at my grandmothers, I consider them my pets too.

I've also grown up with Akitas and a Rottweiler, but the good lord claimed them,

i have a dog that we rescued, he just turned 6 a few days ago. hes half german shepherd half corgi

I grew up having Boxers. First was an old one named Jake that my parents had had for awhile before I was born, and then later on we had another one named Scar, who died about two years back.

Also had a bird named Spike at one point, which escaped from his cage while I was at school one day and picked a fight with Scar. Needless to say, he didn't win.

Currently the only pets I have are two Bearded Dragons I've had for a few years, named Ziggy and Bob.
