In early June I have to go to Vegas for a seminar. While there, I have the chance to see either Santana or Testament w/ Unearth. Don't know much about Unearth, so maybe you can help me out on them????? I'm sure most of you will say Testament but I really like Santana as well so it's a tough choice for me!:light:

Testament. Santana needs to feel the lonliness of post-sellout shame.

Testament

I understand that it's a tough choice, but in the end I'm going to suggest Testament just like everyone else.

This shouldn't even even be a question.

I saw Santana once, about seven years ago. Never again. He barely played any meaningful guitar. He cared far more about having 38 drummers than he did about playing. Awful show.

Testament on the other hand are superb every time.

While we're at it, Gojira, NIN or Gogol Bordello? Obviously Gojira is the first choice on this site, but they're only playing 60-75 minutes with shitty openers.

NIN! They've been putting on some great shows. Gojira is good, but the openers are truly horrendous.

Gogol Bordello :barf:

Spend the money you would've dropped for gas/tickets on good food, drank, and bud instead. Then go home and spin "The Legacy" an all your 70's Santana records and make a night of it. Best option

I've seen Santana 3 times before and loved each one of them. Why would I be board during those sweet guitar solos?

I'd go to Testament.

And Unearth, I really like them. They're core'ish but they seem to be popular among metal fans. Also, people say that they're really good live.

NIN for sure, since they're going on hiatus after this tour.

Haha I meant the album, but yeah the song is one of a handful of post-87 Testament songs that I can dig.

So, after much deliberation and looking at ticket prices ($40 for Testament vs. $151 for Santana) the obvious choice was.............Testament:bouville:

Not too interested in the openers though:eyes:

$151 for Santana

Holy crap!

Good thing there was a good alternative for you. :D

I'm so fucking sick of $100 tickets.

I'm so fucking sick of $100 tickets.$151 was for an orchestra seat which was all I was able to get on ticketbastard. Their fees are charged for everything under the sun.

The $25 Testament ticket is $40 after ticketbastard raped me!

On another note...................would it be acceptable to wear a Maiden shirt to a Testament show?

Why wouldn't it be? What did Chuck Billy and pals throw eggs at them too?

maiden shirt: i saw a maiden shirt when i saw Gojira.

i'm pretty sure it would not be considered inappropriate.
