This was a joint show between The Haunted's current tour and Napalm Death's. All the bands were pretty much amazing with Toxic Holocaust and Napalm being the best. Toxic Holocaust's set was:

Endless Armaggedon
Gravelord
666
Feedback, Blood, and Distortion
Reaperís Grave
Death Brings Death
Lord of the Wasteland
Nuke The Cross

If you have seen Napalm recently, please fill in the gabs. Napalm was headlining and played for about 45 minutes it seemed. Very short, but this was to squeeze in all 8 bands on both tours. The Haunted seemed to of played longer than them. In total i think they played about 16 songs. Heres what i can recall in more or less the correct order. I dont recall the first song but i bet it was "Sink Fast Let Go". Its much easier to know what the song is when they say what it is before hand :).

Strong Arm???
Unchallenged Hate???
Suffer the Children
Diktat
On the Brink of Extinction
When All Is Said And Done
Its A M.A.N.S World
From Enslavement To Obliteration
Scum
Life?
The Kill
Deceiver
You Suffer
Mass Appeal Madness
Nazi Punks Fuck Off

would I, and once they said they had two more songs left, i was quite saddened. But they were quite amazing and funny. Barney said it takes a lot of concentration to play You Suffer.

I cannot thank you enough for getting Napalm's set on there, I am litterally counting down the days till the 11th of next month. Sounds like I gotta start getting familiar w/ Toxic Holocaust. Luckily it is a headlining show so they should play longer than 45 minutes.

Napalm is fun, the songs arent meant to be highly intelligent. Its called grind for a reason, cause its not suppose to make sense, just noisey. Its more rooted in crust punk than heavy metal, thus harmony is the least of their concern. Just saying to each their own. :D

Actually

I bet Napalm Death's lyrics are infinitely more intelligent than bands like Disturbed and LoG.

"Blindness feeds the world to madness
Faith's crumbling, there's no doubt about it
Religion and science fighting a new kind of war

Helpless - wander the streets in desperation
Fearless - to the path they tread
Shameless - the powers that butcher
Ignorant to the deeds that they commit "

vs.

"
Well on your mark, here we go again. (Hey yeah yeah)
Well never mind cause you're not our number one. (Oh yeah yeah)
You're too hard and from the other side. (Hey yeah yeah)
I think it's time to bring it home again. (Right to me!)

You know I'm talkin' 'bout,
Recognitioning.
You know I'm talkin' 'bout,
Vindication.

Here I come I'm droppin' plates on your ass.
Well here I come I'm droppin' plates on your ass.
Said here I come I'm droppin' plates on your ass.
Now here I come I'm droppin' plates on your ass."

Ask me why I hate
Why I've prayed to see the nation that I love disintegrate
And gladly give my life
The revolution regenerates
In honor of the strife of those who've died
In generations before for your blood stained glory

its log's lyrics. im not dissing napalm deaths lyrics as i think they're actually very inticrate, but merely raising a challenge.

the song was: Vigil - Lamb of God

Oh, okay.

I actually think the opposite about LoG and Disturbed, but you're entitled to your opinion and I respect that!

you couldnt find a better disturbed song with better lyrics

lamb of godm - reclamation

Humanityís a failed experiment
Walking the path to extinction
Spinning its wheels endlessly
Grease them with oil and uranium
The earth will shake
and the waters will rise
The elements reclaim what was taken

The skyline is set ablaze with regret
Ashes cover a falling silhouette
The city will reap what itís sown and ignite
Watching as the city burns tonight

Blindly consuming mass manufactured faith
Mankind is a festering parasite
Relentlessly draining its host dry
Nailing belief to a cross of genocide
The elements reclaim what was taken

The skyline is set ablaze with regret
Ashes cover a falling silhouette
The city will reap what itís sown and ignite
Watching as the city burns tonight

Only after the last treeís cut
And the last river poisoned
Only after the last fish is caught
Will you find that money cannot be eaten

And everything becomes irrelevant
as the sky tears open
Fire rains down,
the fourth world comes to an end
Push the button light the match,
feel the fault lines detach
Crosshairs in the evening light
I sit and watch the city burn tonight

The city burns tonight

disturbed - the night

What has come over me
What madness taken hold of my heart
To run away, the only answer
Pulling me away
To fall into the sight

The source of my recovery
Sweet shadow taking hold of the light
Another day has been devoured
Calling me away, leaving a question why

For saving me from all they've taken
Letting my horror fall again
Give me the strength to face them
Feeling it taking over now,

Im about to take it all away
There can be no better way of knowing

CHORUS:
In a world beyond controlling
Are you going to deny the savior
In front of your eyes
Stare into the night
Power beyond containing
Are you going to remain a slave for
The rest of your life
Give into the night

This self discovery
Redemption taking hold of my mind
A serenade of haunting voices
Calling me away
To feast upon the night
The source of my felicity
Dark maiden taking hold of my hand
Lead me away from hibernation
Strong and unafraid
Never a question why

For saving me from all they've taken
Letting my horror fall again
Give me the strength to face them
Feeling it taking over now,

Im about to take it away
There be no better way of knowing

In a world beyond controlling
Are you going to deny the savior
In front of your eyes
Stare into the night
Power beyond containing
Are you going to remain a slave for
The rest of your life
Give into the night
Give in to the night

In a world beyond controlling
Are you going to deny the savior
In front of your eyes
Stare into the night
Power beyond containing
Are you going to remain a slave for
The rest of your life

Give into the night
Night (x3)
Give into the Night
Night (x3)
Give into the Night (x2

Like it or not that stupid fucking sound is the most iconic thing about disturbed, and having actually seen them last summer I can confirm that they do indeed use it in a lot of their songs, if not most of them.

I don't blame LoG and Disturbed for not having intelligent lyrics, their target audience/ music style is not into that. Napalm Death are a grind band who originally included a member of Carcass and have worked with other "intelligent" people for the rest of their career. Grindcore is often centered around political lyrics, like was said in a previous post, because it has a lot of roots in punk(and its subgenres) which were often completely devoted to political/social lyrics.

Yes, they do. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not music. There are melodies and intricate lyrics. You're just too busy with the mainstream metal to delve deep enough in to find out for yourself, so you probably just go by what Kerrang tells you. It's okay, we forgive you.

Btw I had forgot to ask originally does anybody know if they have been playing "Fatalist" from Smear Campagin? That is probably my favorite song and I would love to hear it live. Not that it really matters and its only a few seconds but does anybody think ND plays "You Suffer" just because its actually in the Guiness Book and its just popular for them to play it? Like I said its not a big deal but just curious of other's opinion.
