4. MEGADETH - Youthanasia
5. FAR - Water & Solutions
6. DEATH - Symbolic
7. MR. BUNGLE - California
8. TOOL - Opiate
9. TYPE O NEGATIVE - Origin Of The Feces
10. ST. VITUS - V

13. GOJIRA - From Mars To Sirius
14. ONLY LIVING WITNESS - Prone Mortal Form
15. ALL THAT REMAINS - This Darkened Heart
16. AEROSMITH - Rocks
17. BAD RELIGION - Recipe For Hate
18. STARKWEATHER - Murder In Technicolor
19. BLOODBATH - Resurrection Through Carnage
20. PINK FLOYD - Pulse

Five Roadrunner HQ people drew this up (but didn't all agree).

Last Chapter - The Living Waters would make mine... Angel Dust and Rocks most certainly would not.

Some of the n00bs who have posted there own lists are comical. Someone actually put Operation: Mindcrime. And one guy who apparently exclusively listens to '80s thrash included The Years of Decay, The Legacy, Bonded By Blood, ... And Justice For All and Rust In Peace.

Some of the others are clearly kids, because they've included a load of albums that have been out for five minutes.

Some other ridiculous choices (I don't even need to put the band names, these albums are so well known):

Master of Puppets
Ride The Lightning
Reign In Blood
Vulgar Display of Power
Chaos A.D.
Number of The Beast
Piece of Mind
Back In Black
Appetite For Destruction
Souls of Black
Among The Living
Seventh Son of A Seventh Son
Diary of A Madman
Silver Side Up
Ace of Spades
Only By The Night

If Symbolic is on the underrated list, then I can only assume that there are piles upon piles or retards who think it's terrible.

i noticed they left out Breeding the Spawn, a phenomenal album despite the shit production they (roadrunner) forced upon it

1. Dream theater - Scenes from a memory :horns: (<amazing album)

-Scenes From a Memory is a great album, my 2nd favorite thing Dream Theater has done. I wouldn't say it's underrated though. Along with Images and Words and Awake, I'd say it's among the 3 most agreeably great DT albums.

Dream theater - Scenes from a memory :horns: (<amazing album)

I wouldn't have said that was underrated at all. Very popular album. Actually, maybe even a little overrated :p

I agree with DethMaiden here. A much more relevant (and potentially informative) list would be "Top 20 Albums No One Knows About", or "Top 20 Albums You Haven't Heard, But Should", or something like that. I love those - they are nearly always filled with good stuff, and I like the thrill of discovery almost as much as listening to my old favorites sometimes.
