I don't really listen to these guys much anymore, but when I was in my early teens Killswitch were one of my favorite bands and one of the main reasons why I started to listen to Heavier music.
Anyways this gig was going to be very intimate (venue was 300 capacity) and at only £15 a ticket I thought I might as well go along :horns:
Heres the setlist just incase there are any closet KSE fans on this board :D
1. A Bid Farewell
2. Fixation On The Darkness
3. When Darkness Falls
4. New Song
5. Breathe Life
6. Life To Lifeless
7. This Fire Burns
8. Take This Oath
9. Rose Of Sharyn
10. Holy Diver
11. My Last Serenade
12. The End Of Heartache
- - - - - ENCORE - - - - -
13. Self Revolution
14. Numbered Days
As you can see not an overly long set, but an impressive one. There was no barrier to seperate the fans from the stage so after much persistance I managed to get on stage with Howard and the guys before being thrown back into the crowd! :D
The new song sounded good, it was very thrash and had a much less emo vibe than previous album 'The End Of Heartache', although I'm not sure I'll be picking it up anytime soon.
Overall, a pretty damn good show :rocker:
