Wow! What a great concert to start the year. Machine head and Darkest Hour really killed it live. I think this the best performance that I have seen from Darkest Hour so far. Also, I think that Suicide Silence was entertaining to see live but their music got old real fast. Nevertheless, Machine Head stole the show of course and they performed with the best of their abilities. They had a bunch of lights that were sometimes too bright for me to look at and a screen in the background showcasing... [Read More]

Reading, PA
@ Reverb
Another great show, but disappointing crowd. The people who pitted were good, but there just weren't many people there. Probably around 200. Well, w/ Reading, PA recently being named the poorest city in the country, I can understand many people simply can't afford to go to shows. Reverb is a very nice venue. Large single story area, w/ a bar in the middle, and big screen TVs surrounding the floor... [Read More]

Venue: Corona Theater
Opening band: Ancient VVisdom
Great concert, I loved Blood Ceremony and Ghost, but Ancient VVisdom was boring. Their songs were way too redundant. Blood Ceremony were really heavy and flute was awesome. Everything sounded spot on. Obviously, Ghost were fun to watch, because of their costumes, their stage acting, and the satanic cathedral background. Their songs sounded a lot heavier than on CD, mainly because of the drums. I would have liked to have... [Read More]
